MATERIAL CHARACTERISTICS
The door styles available with Cassarya are made with a variety of materials and wood types The select materials used to create our products range from MDF (medium density fiberboard) to solid and veneer birch and are all crafted with care to enhance and protect their beauty and longevity Each species of wood has its own unique characteristics, colour and grain pattern Our wood products are subject to environmental elements during their growth, such as how much moisture the tree received, wind and seasonal weather changes All these factors influence the wood’s colour and grain pattern and determine if the wood has mineral and/or sap deposits These characteristics are part of what makes natural products so desirable Our stain process will enhance the natural grain pattern and our sealant will protect against everyday scuffs, dings and household products.

Our 8 step finishing process on our MDF products will ensure your cabinetry is durable, moisture resistant, and looks new for years to come Our products are treated with a UV inhibitor to slow down the effects from sunlight and household lighting The following characteristics of various species and their aging is a natural process and therefore will not be eligible for replacement or credit.

MELAMINE
Our melamine doors have an engineered wood substrate and a thermally fused melamine coating.

LAMINATE VENEER
Our laminate veneer doors feature 5 piece construction and dowelled assembly with an engineered wood substrate. The laminate is wrapped and contoured around each piece before assembly, enabling a sharper contour, cleaner lines and appearance of a painted door.

MDF
Our MDF doors are one piece construction. The design of the doors is precisely created with sharp, clean lines and finished with our artisan 8 step paint process including our magic guard UV inhibitor.

ASH
Ash is a medium hard wood with tight uniform grain. With any wood there will always be grain pattern variance and the possibility of mineral and sap deposits.
